Physical security and access to public services are considered to be one of the most important features of a healthy residential neighborhood and lead to the promotion of safety and a sense of peace and vitality in citizens. Physical security tends to protect people's life and property and fulfills their daily needs by providing access to public services. The purpose of this research is to measure the impact of physical security and access to public services on improving the quality of living of citizens. The research method is descriptive-analytical and the questionnaire tool was used to analyze the information and the sample studied in the research is Region 4 of Urmia city. In this research, by using Pearson's correlation coefficient, which was obtained for all the variables of physical security indicators and access to public services in relation to positive and meaningful residential quality, it can be concluded that by improving housing security indicators, It is possible to help improve the living quality of citizens, although this relationship is not very strong. Based on the obtained results, the level of public satisfaction with the physical security index among the residents of region 4 was low and equal to 2.23. Meanwhile, satisfaction with the life of the residential unit and the quality of the main roads are the lowest with 2.14 and 1.27 respectively. The level of satisfaction with the criterion of access to urban services due to the presence of activity nodes in this area is higher than the average and is equal to 4.04.
